Claude ran simulations (histograms) and did an analytic calculation (solid lines) and found excellent agreement.
Claude made fantastic plots showing results with uncertainties that looked just like what one would hope for. Unfortunately, the plots were too good. It was cheating.
The final plot that made it into the paper was similar to the previous one but actually correct.
