  • Keep all email activity tied to the Gong contact record

    ⚙️ How to Set Up Lavender in Gong

    Setup takes less than a minute:

  • Make sure your Lavender login email matches your Gong login email
  • Confirm you’re on an eligible plan: Individual Pro or Teams
    • You can check your plan here.
    • If you need to upgrade, this article will explain how.

    • That’s it! Lavender will now appear automatically when drafting or editing emails and templates in Gong.

    ✍️ Using Lavender Inside Gong

    Lavender works just like it does in Gmail or Outlook — only now it’s embedded directly inside Gong.

    Here’s what you can do:

  • Use the Email Coach to get real-time suggestions
  • Click Boost Score to instantly optimize your message
  • Use the Mobile Editor to preview emails on a phone
  • View Gong call insights right in the Personalization Assistant for context-rich outreach

    • 🛠️ Troubleshooting Lavender in Gong

    Let’s double-check your setup:

    In Lavender:

    Head to your Dashboard and check to ensure your email is connected.

  • For Gmail, you should see Disconnect from Google.

  • For Outlook, you should see Disconnect from Outlook.

    • If they don't say disconnect - make sure you connect them now and use the same email you’re using with Gong!

    In Gong:

    Head to your name in the top navigation bar and click on My Profile.

    Make sure your Gong account email is the same as your Lavender account!

    A few notes:

    All of our integrations, including Gong, are available on our Individual Pro or Teams plans.
